The content supplier will bring established slot franchises and OnAir Entertainment live casino tables to Alberta operators, extending a Canadian footprint built in Ontario.
Alberta became Canada’s second regulated iGaming province on 13 July 2026, when more than 20 operator sites went live under a dual-track framework overseen by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) and the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC). Games Global announced on 7 September 2026 that it has secured AGLC registration, enabling the content supplier to distribute its portfolio to licensed Alberta operators.
Alberta entry adds second Canadian province to Games Global’s regulated footprint
Games Global has secured registration from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) to supply iGaming content in the province. The move extends the company’s Canadian presence beyond Ontario, where it already holds regulatory approval and operates through its studio network and progressive jackpot portfolio.
Alberta’s regulated iGaming market opened on 13 July 2026, making it Canada’s second open competitive jurisdiction after Ontario. The province operates a dual-track model: the AGLC serves as regulatory authority, while the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) handles commercial agreements with operators and suppliers. More than 50 brands have been licensed to operate in the province, with 22 operator sites live at market launch.
Content available in Alberta
Games Global’s Alberta rollout will include established slot franchises Gold Blitz, 12 Masks of Fire and Fishin’ Pots of Gold, all making their Alberta debut.
Live casino tables already distributed across Canada through Games Global’s exclusive live casino partner, OnAir Entertainment, will also be available to Alberta operators from launch.
North America remains a strategic priority
Mark MacCombie, Chief Commercial Officer at Games Global, said:
‘The opening of Alberta’s iGaming market is an exciting opportunity for Games Global. We have already established a strong presence in Ontario, where our content has proven resonant with players, and we are confident Alberta will build on this momentum.’
MacCombie added:
‘North America remains a key strategic focus for us, and we will continue to work closely with both our operator partners and our exclusive studios to deliver gaming experiences to players across the continent’s regulated markets.’
The Alberta entry follows a period of active North American expansion for Games Global. The company entered the US market in early 2024 and has since built tier-one operator partnerships across regulated US states alongside its Canadian operations. Alberta’s framework is deliberately structured to mirror Ontario’s, meaning supplier compliance work transfers between the two markets with limited additional overhead.
