Rayman Legends Retold Details Accessibility Options Including Invulnerability

Ubisoft has released a new game overview trailer for Rayman Legends Retold, highlighting accessibility and gameplay assistance options.

Players can enable or disable accessibility settings individually, and they remain available during solo and co-op play. The options cover gameplay assistance, controls, visual presentation, subtitles, audio, and camera settings.

One of the larger additions is Fairy Blessing. After repeated deaths at the same checkpoint, Betilla can offer the player the ability. Activating it provides invulnerability, flight, and self-revival. Players can decline the assistance, permanently disable the offer, manually activate it through the settings, or access it by speaking with Betilla.

Other gameplay options reduce the number or frequency of required inputs. Autoshoot is available during Dragon Rides, while certain actions support hold-and-toggle alternatives. Fairy Blaze, Fairy Radiance, and Tickling interactions can also be automated.

Visual settings include High Contrast Mode, highlighting for gameplay elements, adjustable HUD backgrounds, and an Arachnophobia Mode that removes spiders appearing in backgrounds. Subtitle options include multiple text sizes, adjustable background opacity, speaker names, and an alternative sans-serif font.

Players can completely remap controls across platforms. The PC version supports keyboard and mouse as well as controllers. Additional settings include adjustable vibration intensity, separate audio sliders, camera shake controls, and axis inversion during ride sequences. The game does not feature quick time events, and it will not communicate progression information exclusively through audio cues.

Rayman Legends Retold will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store on December 3, 2026.
