Some users have revealed that they have seen a ‘Wallet Credits’ reward when making purchases on the PlayStation.
This is not the first sighting of the PlayStation ‘Wallet Credits’ in question. A couple of months ago, a listing for the same appeared on the platform’s official store; however, Sony hasn’t announced anything about it. The new details about the feature show that it might function as a new PlayStation rewards program.
PlayStation Could Be Testing New Rewards Program with ‘Wallet Credits’
Spotted by PlayStation Lifestyle, a Reddit user shared a screenshot indicating they received free ‘Wallet Credits’ after purchasing The Blood of Dawnwalker. Some other users have reported receiving the same rewards when buying Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Halloween. These Wallet Credits offer $10 to spend on the PlayStation Store, and players can only redeem this offer with a purchase.
This feature isn’t available to all users; it appears only select users in certain regions have access to it. Some users on social media have confirmed seeing this feature, but Insider Gaming hasn’t been able to replicate it on our consoles in Brazil, India, or the United Kingdom.

It makes sense for PlayStation to test a new rewards program, since the PlayStation Stars program is set to fully shut down on November 2, 2026. Sony could make an official announcement after that date; however, for now, this is just speculation, and nothing has been officially confirmed.
