The musical Kingdom Hearts fan group, Project Destati, has announced the imminent arrival of its next album, Project Destati Re:Awakening, on November 13, 2026, as the debut for The Classical Side of Gaming.
This album revisits the team’s first album, “Awakening,” from 13 years ago. This return is described as a “turbulent orchestral odyssey of hand-picked Kingdom Hearts classics, reorchestrated and rearranged for the concert hall. The album ebbs and flows through a rich assortment of moods and textures, aiming to highlight the musical breadth of the series with meticulous attention.”
“Awakening’ originally featured the songs “Another Side,” “Destati,” “Sinister Sunburn,” “Treasured Memories,” and “End of the World.”
Fans can anticipate a 50-piece live orchestra recording at the Bastyr University Chapel. You can view the official Project Destati Bandcamp for their other work.
